Are you shocked to find out that my skirt is actually a dress, as well as my shirt? Yep! I'm wearing two dresses. Haha. I was so flustered while taking these pictures that I forgot to get close ups! Duh, Kenzie. Geez. I'm sorry guys!
The reason I was so flustered taking these is because I thought I'd get in trouble. There wasn't any "No trespassing" signs, but the buildings were boarded up and really creepy. I just felt weird being there! The history behind them is so cool, though. On this particular building there was a sign that dated back to 1922. You can read that here. Apparently, these buildings were all part of Stonewall Jackson Training School - a place where male offenders under the age of eighteen were sent to in lieu of prison time. Click the link to read more! It's pretty interesting.
Also, I don't have a lot of pictures because my Photoshop shutdown and won't open back up. O_o. Yeah. I'm off to fix that, now!

ReplyDeletegreat location. i was in a field beside my house taking pictures and this police car totally stopped and watched me for like ten minutes. i was like 'dude my house is right there, stop staking me!'. he finally drove off but it was wierd. i've also been busted for skateboarding where i'm not supossed to (and everyone thinks i'm such a good girl...).

ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful location that you took these photos at! your dresses look great together.
ReplyDeleteLove that top, I mean shirt. Looks great with the skirt and heels. Somehow I never think to do things like that, like make a dress work as a top or tunic.
ReplyDeleteI love the two dress combo...I would so never have thought of doing that!
