{dress: f21, hat: thrifted}
Remember, on Twitter, when I said I was going to take advantage of the sunlight? This was the outcome. One of my favorite "shoots" I've done in a long time! My favorrrrrite dress from F21, a hat that I just thrifted, and my great grandma's suitcase.
I have a lot more photos, but I've already posted too many. Aha.
PLEEEASE, help me if you have any tips on packing. I'm going to Paris & Barcelona & for the most part, have absolutely no idea what to wear. Help a sista ouuuut :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit surprised that Forever21 carries a dress like that. It's really pretty, but it has such a vintage feel to it and F21 seems like it would be way to trendy for it. But it's a good find nonetheless.
As far as packing goes.. while I can't help for those specific locations I'd say bring items that are versatile and can be mixed and matched. Maybe pick a color theme and only bring items that go with it. You're so stylish, I'm sure you'll come up with an awesome plan! Good luck. :)

For packing I would say versatility. A shirt you can wear many ways, a top that can be paired with anything. Also comfort is key. You are going to have so much fun. Let me know if you need a guest blogger, and I'd love to help out. :)
Wow these photos are gorgeous :) looks like something out of a mag!! Packing - make sure you have remix items that all go together. Amazing what you can do with only a few items and some different jewelry/hats/shoes!!

ReplyDeleteAs for packing, I always write a list of everything I'll need and plan out the outfits that I will wear for each day. I try to pick shoes and jackets that I can wear with multiple outfits, so that cuts down on suitcase space. Match your clothes with the weather, but always bring some kind of jacket/coat in case it's cold at night or the weather gets nasty. And pack stuff that you know you will be comfortable in! There have been times where I packed short shorts and ended up not wearing them because they weren't appropriate for the place I was going, nor did I feel comfortable wearing them. Hope that helps! :)

Beautiful! Pack skirts/shorts that match a lot of different tops. Bottoms usually last longer between washings.

perfection! perfection! ahh you're going to barcelona?? i studied abroad there last semester. it should be pretty warm there, 60s-70s i'd say. CROSSBODY PURSE probably the most important thing. pickpocketing is big in barcelona and i'd be careful in paris too. light layers for barce, i'm guessing still chillier in paris, probably a legitimate jacket would be good. have so much fun!

Wow Kenzie, you have really outdone yourself this time! These photos are straight out of a Free People magazine or something. They're just gorgeous (as are you)! There's such a perfect timeless feel to these, and they make me wish for warm summer days even more!
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited for you & your trip to Europe! I recommend packing some seriously comfy shoes, because I'm always surprised out how much walking I do! Also make sure to pack in layers, the weather can be really sporadic over there- I've been in Paris in May when I needed a sweater, and I've been in Paris in May when It was so flipping hot I couldn't move. hehe Most of all though, have a marvelous time! When do you go?

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I looove those pictures. Second of all, I'm incredibly irriated that I cant go to Paris too. :) And lastly, the only packing tip I have is roll your clothing, particularly shirts so that there is no wrinkles and there is a lot more space in your suitcase. :)
