Sister's wedding

My sister married her best friend last weekend. The wedding was seriously so perfect--classy and chic. Totally deserves to be on one of those wedding blogs or something.

My sisters and I have always agreed, we'd like to find guys that have the same awesome qualities that my father has; Dinah found that guy. He's so much fun to be around and treats Dinah the way a lady should be treated. My family's loved him since the moment we met him! So cool to see God's hand in all of this--We can see why everything has happened the way it did. Totally meant to be! Congrats Dinah & Daniel :-)

LOVE my new THEIT bag! Quite obviously--It doesn't even match this outfit! Just so ya know, when our hotel caught on fire over the weekend, it was the only thing I grabbed.

MY BLOG IS ONE YEAR OLD TODAY. I'M SUCH A PROUD MOTHER. My, my, my how much I've learned over the course of one year! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE BLOGGY!

Seriously wonderful

How did I forget how seriously wonderful it is to get a mani-pedi? Thanks to Sam's family, I had a gift card to the nail spa down the street, and a reason to use it (D's wedding - my nailz gotta be lookin' good.) My hands, feet, and calves have never felt so fantastic. Although the massage chair had too many buttons and i couldn't quite understand the lady's accent, the whole dang experience was glorious. Glor-i-ous. Might have to make this (at least) a monthly thing.

Ridiculousness

When going to Urban Outfitters, I pretty much always head straight for the sale section. This is the only time (for the most part) I think their clothes are reasonably priced. Everything you see here was bought on sale--a total of $50 (the price of one, cheaply made skirt.) Thinking about it, I don't think I've ever bought anything full price from UO.... I'm okay with this realization.

My above facial expressions are so ridiculous. But the field behind me is really pretty......So that's good.

Blue and green

My new camera lens is here! And it's huge. But I couldn't love it more.

It's been cold here in NC.. I've been wearing tights, sweaters, and jackets. I'm even drinking HOT coffee. It's crazy stuff, guys. Unfortunately, the cold front's leavin' town and by next week we should be back up to 80 degrees. I loved you while you lasted, cold weather. Already, I can't wait for your return!

Hues of Blue

Sista's wedding is just a week away, guys! I have no idea why I haven't blogged about it yet. It's outside. And we're wearing pretty bridesmaid dresses. But I'm scared it will be cold.....and I don't know what to do with my hair. (Y IS LIFE SO STRESSFUL?) Anyway, I'm buying a new camera lens for the occasion. The wedding's going to be so pretty.. Excited for them!

This was that pretty dress I tweeted about! I rarely visit Old Navy but when I do, I really do pick the best days. This time, it was 50% off all dresses, along with purses, and mark-downs on a lot of new items! I could have bought so much, but I did well and walked out with only this dress and a basic button-up that I've been wanting/needing.

It was Kelsi's birthday on Sunday so we ventured out to get some coffee and then, of course, we walked around the park. A very sketchy one. There were signs advising everyone to "always walk with a friend." I'm sure it wasn't the best idea, being two small-framed teenage girls in preppy clothing--carrying around Starbucks!

Floral distractions

I seriously love this H&M scarf. It's so pretty and huge.. And, oh yeah.. huge. Makes for a perfect shawl. Hopefully it distracts you from my wrinkly dress and that huge deodorant spot that I just now noticed and am too lazy to go back and edit out. :-)

Do you know how long I've been looking for these shoes? It all started many months ago when I first saw them online.... After finding them in a few f21 stores and realizing they were never in my size, I gave up hope of ever calling them mine. Then, walking through a F21 in Michigan, they were there.. Three pairs left.. IN MY SIZE. Amazing how things work out, eh?

Colder weather

Don't get me wrong - I love summer. But... I'm so ready for this next season. My tights, boots, and sweaters are basically begging me to take them out of the closet. And I'm already craving apple cider and pumpkin pie. So hurry up, Autumn! And bring your cold weather! I'll welcome you with arms wide open :-)

Hunter Wellies

They're here, they're here! My parents bought me these pretty little things as an early (early, early) birthday gift. Had to talk them out of saving them till the actual day 'cause really... Do they honestly think I have enough patience to wait for these babes for two whole months? I'm okay with not having presents to open as long as I get a nice dinner with the fam - while wearing the boots of course ;-)

Thank you, mom & dad. They couldn't be more perfect.
